The bi-level drainage problem is studied in this paper. The problem is represented by a linearized theoretical model and the same is solved by an analytical procedure making use of Fourier series expansions. The different boundary and initial conditions are included in the problem formulation. The problem is studied in detail and the computed results are presented in nondimensional graphical from and discussed.

The coefficient method has been generalized by assuming a nonlinear relationship between storage and outflow. An empirical procedure for the solution of general equation has been developed. The method of solution was found to yield reasonable results.

Plasticity analysis for orthogonal wedge indentation of plastic rigid material suggests that the faces of the wedge will be subjected to uniformly distributed pressure and tangential stress over the copycat length. In the present work the stress distribution at the tip of an infinitely deep wedge is obtained when the wedge is subjected to such a stress distribution. The problem simulates the industrial scoring process for the manufacturing of easy open can tops. The solution is obtained in integral form using a method proposed by Tranter, ethic is based on the application of Mellin integral Transform.

The change from rural to urban landaus has an effect on the volume, rate and quality of storm water runoff. The pollutants originating from a wide variety of processes such as soil erosion, litter, dust, dr-icing salts, tire wear, etc accumulate on urban land surfaces, ans are subsequently washed off by rainfall or snowmelt.

The problem of deteriorating the quality of strmwater runoff has not received as much attention as they of increased flooding. In this paper a brief review is made initially of the alternative methods available for controlling the quality of the runoff, discharging into the river or sewer, It is observed that one of the interesting methods is the construction of natural or artificial retention ponds. In the present study, an attempt is made to define the water quality criteria currently used in the design those ponds. A simulation model is developed to evaluate and analyses the removal efficiency and hydraulic behavior of retention facilities; also a design procedure is constructed. A multi-objective analysis is formulated to illustrate possible decision-making process for the case when water quality objectives are not specified.

An Analytical method is Presented for the determination of the Frequencies of the Rigid body modes of Vibration Timoshenko Beamresting on an Elastic Foundation. The Results obtained show excellent agreement with the obtained from a finite element analysis. It is concluded. that the frequency the of rotational rigid body modes diminished by the ratio 1/(1+12R) where R is the rotary inertia parameter. A dynamic stability analysis a free - free Timoshenko Beamresting on an Elastic Foundation and subjected to periodic axial loads is carrier out. the regions of dynamic instability associated with the translational and rotational rigid body modes determined.

The purpose of this paper is the determination of multiplication factor M for optimum behaviour of avalanche photodetectors. We compare two types of avalanche photodetectors: a silicon structure R.A.P.D.N+π P πP+ and GaAl heterostructures .In the calculation of the noise equivalent power ( NEP )of Whole System we use the law Si (f)=2qIpho Mx experimentally determined in the broth avalanche photodetectors. The exposure X between 2 and 4 is preponderant in the NEP expression and the ideal NEP for avalanche photodetector system is obtained when X equals 2.

The paper gives theoretical analysis of the performance of cylinderical parabolic solar concentrator. Particular attention is given to the application of this type concentrator in the intermediate temperature rang ( >100 0C ) where wide receivers are used. Suitable indicines that describe the performance of the concentrator are defined and evaluated. The effect of individual parameter on total concentrator performance is investigated in order to put this analysis to a universal use the non – dimensional approach of mathematical formulation is used. The results of the analysis are presented in a set of graphs which can be used easily for solar concentrator design.
