Abstract

Abstract This study aims to design and measure the buckling under cyclic combined loads to estimate the failure condition for different types of columns . The applied loads are torsion , compression and bending . The test rig is designed to predict the safe life for the loaded part . These parts ( columns ) may be solid or hollow and made from different materials , with different slenderness ratio . By using this rig we can applied the procedure of Landa theory in learning which based on learning step - step and sequencing principle as happen in snowball method . The designed test rig consists of the following systems : -Torsion load system . -Compression load system . -Bending load system .
