Abstract
The subject of research involve study of basic hydrolysis of lactone ring of
coumarin, 6-methyl coumarin and 6- amino coumarin in 70% (Ethanol – Water) at
equal and double concentration of base (NaOH) at five different temperatures by
electrical conductivity method and the results were interpreted according to the
transition state theory.
