Construct of a Database for Traced Curve Points
Engineering and Technology Journal,
2013, Volume 31, Issue 1, Pages 1-7
The importance of a database relies in saving information to benefit from retrieving, processing, hiding, declaring them depending on necessitous. In this research, information represents the coordinates of different curve points, these curves are path for aircraft on air or railway or launch of rocket path or tunnel or tracing path in desert and many of important paths ,all can be considered as curves, these curves have been taken and saved as binary images then begin to search for the beginning point of this curve (the point with different color that have only one neighborhood ) ,saving this point in a database that have been constructed for this purpose ,then changing the point color to be the same as the background ,continuing tracing the curve points until the end zone (that have no neighborhood ) to have a database to be benefit from it in security operations by hiding important paths(military tunnel, oil pipe) knowing only to those owning the related database.

The experiment was carried out on twenty four male adult mice distributed into 4 groups of 6 mice each. Group one was kept as positive control, while mice of the other three groups were given orally an aqueous cinnamon extract at 0.5, 1 and 2mg/ml respectively, daily for three weeks. The results showed that oral administration of cinnamon extract at 2 mg/ml to diabetic male mice for three weeks decreased blood glucose level and increased serum insulin and testosterone levels. This study recommends that intake of cinnamon bark as a drink may be beneficial for diabetic patients who suffer from sexual impotency as their extracts induce antidiabetic activity and enhance male fertility in diabetic mice.
Synthesis of Colloidal Copper Oxide Nan Oparticles Using Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser Ablation in Liquid
Engineering and Technology Journal,
2013, Volume 31, Issue 1, Pages 14-23
This work reports the attempts to carry out pulsed laser ablation in liquid (PLAL) for synthesizing colloidal copper oxide nanoparticles (NPs). Copper oxide NPs was synthesized by 7ns Nd:YAG laser ablation of high purity copper target immersed in different solutions; ethanol, acetone, and water. The optical and morphological properties of copper oxide NPs were investigated. It was found that the optical absorbance, energy gap, size, and distribution of copper oxide nanoparticles are dependent on liquid type. Plasmon peak was observed at 550nm for Cu NPs ablated in acetone and methanol liquids, while it was disappeared for those ablated in water. Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) analysis showed that the average grain size of copper oxide particles ablated in acetone, ethanol, and water were 276 nm, 300, and 360nm, respectively. Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) was used to study the vibrational frequencies between the bonds of atoms for a synthesized copper oxide NPs at different liquids. All these results confirm the complete oxidation of ablated copper.

Proposal to Generate a Various Key from Image for Various Encryption Methods
Engineering and Technology Journal,
2013, Volume 31, Issue 1, Pages 107-114
There are three basic encryption methods: hashing, symmetric cryptography, and asymmetric cryptography. Each of these encryption methods have their own uses, advantages, and disadvantages. All three of these encryption methods use cryptography, or the science of scrambling data . Although there can be several pieces to an encryption process, the two main pieces are the algorithms and the keys. As stated earlier, algorithms used in computer systems are complex mathematical formulas that dictate the rules of how the plaintext will be turned into ciphertext. A key is a string of random bits that will be used by the algorithm.
This paper proposed a method which generates the key that draw from parts of the image. The size of the key is used with the suggested algorithm to encryption of the text. This method could be applied to Symmetric cryptography or Asymmetric cryptography.
