The spectral density analysis of the articulated vehicles is a subject of greatimportance and it is widely applied in the area of vehicles design and safety. So the vehicles when ride over rough roads, respond dynamically andinadequate road holding may arise .This paper examines the ride safety of anarticulated vehicle over irregular roads through an analytical study .Thevehicle responses to road surface undulations are studied using spectraldensity approach which is reviewed and then applied on a vehicle model toobtain the dynamic wheel loads a the results are drawn from the classicalsystem and conclusions are drawn as to the applicability of this approach. Forloaded and unloaded articulated vehicles, it may be concluded that forunloaded vehicle the danger of the departure of the wheel from the road ishigher than with the loaded vehicles.
